I will start the ball rolling by giving a review for our current class book Now by Morris Gleitzman.

Now by Morris Gleitzman

Now is the third story in a 4 part series by Morris Gleitzman that follows the life a character named Felix. The first and second books describe Felix's childhood in Poland where he had to evade Nazi soldiers to stay alive. Now is based in a less dramatic and scary setting in a small town in Australia, where a now elderly Felix lives as a retired surgeon. The story revolves around the challenges Felix's young granddaughter Zelda faces when she comes to stay while her parents are volunteering in Africa. This is an excellent read as their is a clever use of humour, plenty of action, well developed characters and some excellent advice is given along the way.
